Get Swiffed *spec campaign*

Brief: Create a social-first campaign that positions Swiffer as the solution to life's everyday messes while giving the brand a distinctive, ownable voice.

Idea: When something causes a mess, people get frustrated. Common language might cause someone to utter “get f*cked”… not myself per se, but someone… somewhere… I’m absolutely sure of it. This is a playful twist on a familiar phrase that lets people call out the everyday messes, spills, and annoying things they’ve got to clean up. Every inconvenience gets one response, Get Swiffed.

Basically: transform cleaning from a chore into a cultural moment. Don’t talk about product features. Make Swiffer the punchline to the everyday frustrations people already experience.

Social Campaign & Activation: A series of social posts sharing relatable household frustrations, turning them into infinitely repeatable shareable moments. This encourages users to create and share their own.

Followers are invited to finish the sentence:
“To _______, Get Swiffed.”
i.e. To the roommate who always says, “I’ll clean later,” Get Swiffed.

Each week, Swiffer selects someone and helps them make their frustration disappear by sending products, hiring a cleaning crew, etc.
